Burj Dubai Opens Monday

Dubai is gearing up for the historic opening of Burj Dubai on Monday. Security plans are already in place for the inauguration ceremony, which will be open to the public. About 6,000 visitors are expected to attend and there is parking space for over 7,300 vehicles. Over 1,000 security personnel have been deployed to secure the area. There are a number of locations in the city where the fireworks display for the opening ceremony can be viewed including Festival City Boulevard, Zabeel Park, Jumeirah open beach piers, Safa Park, Desert area near Meydan, and Burj Dubai Boulevard. Festival City Boulevard is located off Rabat Street in Dubai Festival City and is the ideal place to watch the fireworks display. Zabeel Park is located on the northeast of the Dubai World Trade Center, and Jumeirah open beach piers are a great viewing place for beach lovers.
