DFW International Airport Welcomes Minute Suites Nap Center With Grand Opening
Published by Irhal
(Dubai, United Arab Emirates, June 24 2013) – Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport celebrated the grand opening of the Airport’s first Minute Suites® location, an around-the-clock nap center for passengers to relax, conduct business or sleep in a private suite available by the hour. The first of two Minute Suites® centers planned for DFW officially opened today in Terminal D near gate D23 with nine sleep…

Suites are priced at only $34 for a one-hour minimum stay and then $8.50 for every 15 minutes thereafter. Rate reductions begin at four hours including a flat overnight rate of $125.
Minute Suites® provides a wellness-based solution to the stress and fatigue caused by air travel. As physicians and healthcare professionals, the Minute Suites® team focused on sleep physiology and engineered the concept of a secure, dark and quiet environment to encourage napping, and they developed the use of binaural beat audio technology as a sleep aid for travelers.
“Minute Suites® is a cutting-edge concept that’s getting a tremendous response from customers, and it supports our goal of seeking to be one of the healthiest airports in the world,” said Ken Buchanan, executive vice president for revenue management at DFW. “We believe services like these really elevate DFW and help distinguish our Airport for providing an outstanding travel experience.”
DFW becomes the third U.S. airport with a Minute Suites® location, joining Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International (ATL) and Philadelphia International (PHL). Another Minute Suites® location is planned as part of the next phase of renovations in Terminal A next year.
