DOMOTEX Middle East 2011 attracts exhibitors from around the world

The show exhibitors from all corners of the globe as far reaching as Chile, South America, German, France, Belgium, Holland, Turkey, Japan, China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, in addition to high profile regional exhibitors, who are looking to extend their network not only within the Middle East region but also Africa, CIS, Central Asia and beyond.
Angela Schaschen, Managing Director of Deutsche Messe Dubai Branch, the organiser of DOMOTEX Middle East said: “The Middle East remains a key market for floor covering providers around the globe. The region’s construction industry is due to deliver projects worth US$500 billion by 2015*, providing a huge opportunity for the floor covering sector.”
“We are also seeing an increase in government sponsored infrastructure projects, for example in Saudi Arabia over $13 billion of construction contracts have been awarded in the Kingdom in Q1 2011 alone**. The construction sector is expected to continue its impressive growth as the Saudi government set forth plans to develop the Kingdom’s infrastructure in the 2011 budget.”
Among the international exhibitors at DOMOTEX Middle East 2011 will be Balta from Belgium. One of the world-leaders in contract floor coverings, Balta provides products across the floor covering spectrum from woven area rugs to wall-to-wall carpets, needlefelt and fungrass to carpet tiles. Luz Mendez from Chile will be showcasing her unique high-end carpet and rug textile designs, which are characterised by sharp, light and welcoming designs and distinguished by a particular use of colour to help create a serene and clear environment. Roya Manufacturing from Canada, a supplier of modular carpet products in both nylon and poly propylene for commercial and residential properties and specialized flooring solutions for healthcare settings, will also be participating.
High profile regional exhibitors include Platinum Sponsor Al Abdullatif Industrial Investment Co, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, one of the region’s largest manufacturers of machine made carpets and Abu Dhabi National Carpets who founded the first carpet factory in Abu Dhabi in 2001.
“With over 81% of visitors confirming a buying agenda at the 2010 show, DOMOTEX Middle East 2011 provides the ideal platform for suppliers to expand their network in the region,” Schaschen added.
