Passenger traffic numbers at Dubai International Airport exceeded Hong Kong International Airport numbers for the first time last month. The Capa report said Dubai International Airport “continues its relentless climb up the ranking of the world’s busiest international airports.” It said 3.36 million passengers passed through the airport in June 2009, about 55,000 more than Hong Kong International Airport. About 3.1 million passengers transited through Singapore, and Bangkok handled 2.8 million passengers.
