Dubai, Beijing Sign Agreement To Boost Tourism

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and Beijing Tourism Administration (BTA) signed an accord to share and benefit from each country’s expertise regarding tourism. The accord was signed during a visit by BTA Director General Zhang Huiguang to the DTCM head office recently. Bin Sulayem briefed the delegation about tourism development projects and efforts to promote and market Dubai in overseas markets, including China, where DTCM has three representative offices. Zhang expressed appreciation for the high standards of service and excellence in the tourism industry. She noted there has been a significant increase in the number of Chinese visitors to Dubai, mainly because of better air connectivity between the two countries, as well as Dubai’s positive investment and business climate.
