Dubai Geographical Information System Website Launched

The Geographical Information System (GIS) website for Dubai Metro was launched by the Road and Transportation Authority (RTA) on Tuesday. An official said the system can be used to obtain information about distance and expected travel time between stations, parking and ride facilities, integration points, and other transport modes like buses and abras. There will be detailed pictures of metro stations. The official said “The system also provides information about business landmarks in proximity of metro stations such as restaurants, malls, and places of cultural and heritage significance.”
