Dubai Hotel RevPar Still World’s Highest

Dubai hotel revenue per available room (RevPar) continues to be among the highest in the world. Rob O’Hanlon, Tourism, Hospitality, and Leisure partner at Deloitte in the Middle East, said “The revenue per available room for the 10 months period ending October 2009 is a reflection of fall in demand.” However, he said Dubai hotel RevPar of $155.36 during this period “remains among the highest in the world.” The average RevPar for the Middle East during this period was $123.33, 18.1 percent lower than the same period the previous year.
