Dubai Hotels Adopt Green Policies

Dubai hotels are making efforts to reduce their carbon footprint and guests are becoming more concerned about the environmental effects of hotels. Many hotels are already making efforts to cut carbon emissions. Intercontinental Hotel Group earlier this year launched an online Green Engage program in all of its hotels around the world. IHG has 12 hotels in the UAE. The program lets IHG general managers compare environmental performance of their hotels, and lists steps the hotels can take to reduce emissions.
