Dubai hotels registered a 4.09 percent increase in average growth of revenue per available room (RevPar) in the third quarter of the current fiscal year (July-September) compared to the same period last year. Rob O’Hanlon, Tourism, Hospitality, and Leisure Partner for the Middle East said Dubai’s portfolio of international hotels is impressive, and as global confidence returns, “It is likely that Dubai will be well positioned to benefit from the changing environment.” Year-to- date hotel occupancy in September in the Middle East is 11 percent lower than the same period last year.
