The UAE will be celebrating its National Day on December 2. A public sector holiday from Dec 2-6 is expected to bring in a large number of shoppers to shopping malls and eating places. In anticipation of the rush, the Mall of the Emirates is gearing up for the festivities. From November 25th - December 4th, there will be daily entertainments including an agile crew of artists who will perform choreographed routines using gravity defying movements and lifts; a colourfully costumed marching band who will parade throughout the mall several times a day and larger than life stilt walkers greeting all visitors with UAE National Day themed giveaways.
