Egypt Will Proceed With Dh4.14bn Airport Expansion

Egypt will spend about Dh1.38 billion (2 billion pounds) for reconstruction at Terminal 2 at Cairo International Airport. Terminal 3 opened on 27 April 2009 and with an annual capacity of 11 million passengers, brings the airports total annual passenger capacity to 24 million. Cairo International Airport is Egypt’s largest airport.
