Emirates Begins Flight Service To Luanda, Angola

Emirates Airlines announced it will start thrice weekly flight service between Dubai and Luanda, Angola, from October 25, 2009. This is the airlines second new destination in Africa this year, and its 18th destination in Africa in total. Transport Minister for Angola, Augusto da Silva Tomas, said a new flight between the two countries will increase potential for growth in both nations. The flight will operate on an Airbus A330-200 and will depart from Dubai at 10am and arrive in Luanda at 3:10 pm. The return flight will depart Luanda at 8 pm, and land in Dubai at 4:40 am the next day.
