The Formula 1 Grand Prix on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi ended last weekend and hotel executives of the Yas Hotel are confident of future success. The glowing, five star Yas Hotel, which is the first hotel to be built around a racetrack, was a center piece of the action. The interior of the hotel looks less like a typical hotel and more like a cross of a modern art gallery and the inside of a spacecraft. The interior is mostly white with some grey and fuscia décor. The F1 team members, performers, and dignitaries attracted to the Yas Hotel during the race have left but next week it will be nearly filled again by the Miss World candidates and organizers, as well as guests of a car company that is using the track to launch a new model.
