Halal steak restaurant in Melbourne

If you have always wanted to dig into some beef wagyu steak but never got to because it wasn't Halal, here is your opportunity. Take a trip downunder. In Melbourne there is a very un-Halal sounding restaurant called The Meat and Wine Co. which serves a delicious Halal wagyu rump or rib-eye steak. Halal steak restaurant in Melbourne

The following Halal items are available at the restaurant: Monte free-range rib-eye on the bone 400g, Monte gold wagyu rump 500g, Monte black wagyu rib-eye 300g, lamb loin chops, beef carpaccio, all chicken.

Although the products are Halal certified and precautions are taken in the cooking methods the restaurant's kitchen environment is not Halal certified by the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils.

The restaurant claims that they clean tongs, boards and pans when preparing these dishes.
