Hilton Hotels Signs Deal For Hilton Doha Residence

Hilton Hotels Corporation signed an agreement with the New Doha Hotels Company for the Hilton Doha Residence scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2012. Vice President of Development for Hilton Hotels, Middle East said the Qatar governments program to boost the regions tourism sector and “raise the average length of stay from 1.5 days to 4 days provides us with the perfect market opportunity to launch Hilton Doha Residence.” Qatar is among the richest countries in the world with a GDP income per capita of $85,867 per annum. The country is an important business and MICE destination and plans to welcome 1.5 million visitors by next year.
