Forgoing modern conveniences, the hotel does not provide conventional showers, so guests have to use the water that comes from the mountains to clean themselves.

To get to this place, visitors take a two hour car ride from Zurich, followed by a hike that allows them to view the gorgeous landscape around them.

The hotel is open from May to October—you can make a reservation only by phone.
