The five star 500 room luxury Yas Hotel is one of seven new hotels built for the inaugural Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday. The Yas Hotel will be unlike any other in the world, because guests will be able to watch the rainbow colored Formula One car race by at speeds up to 130 mph. Managing Director of Aldar Hotels and Hospitality said “It’s a revolutionary hotel, the track goes through the middle of the hotel so it was a little more complicated to build.” The other six properties developed by Aldar for Abu Dhabi’s first Grand Prix event are Crowne Plaza, Radisson, Park Inn, Staybridge Suites, Rotana, and Centro. They are very close to the $1bn motor racing circuit.
