India to be serviced by Bahrain Air

Bahrain Airâℬ™s inaugural flight to India will be to Kochi in Kerala . The first flight will take off at 10:40 am on Monday, 26th May and land at Cochin International Airport at 5:30 pm local time on the same day .The other two flights will operate on Tuesdays and Fridays departing Bahrain at 7 pm and arriving Kochi on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 02:30 am . This thrice a week service will continue…

This thrice a week service will continue through the entire summer and eventually become a daily service from October 2008.

Kochi is the largest commercial hub in the South Indian state of Kerala and is also a gateway to the other cities within the same state and others. India is seen as a lucrative market, particularly the southern region, as a large number of the Indian community residing in Bahrain and the other GCC countries travel there to visit their families or for business or pleasure.

Al Hamar , Managing Director of Bahrain Air, said that they were very pleased to be able to serve the large Indian community by way of offering cost effective and comfortable means of travel to and from Bahrain to Kochi.
