Here's a list of Irhal's top 10 picks for a unique honeymoon destinations - and why:

1. Beijing
People don't think of China when they hear the word 'romance' but let me convince you as to why I believe you and your spouse should go.
First, the city has a Four Seasons, which in my opinion is just about the only place you should stay if you can afford it. The Four Seasons Beijing offers you the best in spas and massages besides the super luxurious room and standard hotel amenities.
If you don't feel like spending a lot on a hotel room though, the city has plenty of moderate and budget hotel options as well.
Once you've picked a place to stay, you should take your spouse out to The Great Wall of China . It's a romantic idea knowing that you and your spouse are standing on a man-made object that is visible from the moon, and also one of the seven wonders of the world.
You and your loved one should also visit the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and the Temple of Heaven. If you fancy a walk through a luxurious palace garden, you should also head to The Summer Palace too.
Beijing also offers a lot in terms of art, silk and shopping.
So there's plenty of things to do, plenty of ways to relax and kick-back and tons of places to shop and enjoy China's culture. Beijing is definitely a unique way to spend your honeymoon.

2. Brunei Darussalam
Brunei is small and rich country located in Southeast Asia. It's not your typical honeymoon spot, that's for sure.
Stay with your spouse at the 5-star Empire Hotel. It's a tourist attraction in itself. It looks super grand, it has it's own private beach with Kayaks for you to rent and it's got it's own golf course and spa. That's aside, of course, from the standard luxurious hotel rooms and amenities.
Fret not if you don't plan to spend a lot, there's a bunch of cheaper hotel options available in Brunei too.
You have to go scuba diving in Brunei with your spouse. It's exciting because Brunei has a lot of shipwrecks for you to explore, and what's more romantic than swimming a few hundred feet below land and taking some truly spectacular pictures of yourself in a sunken ship?
Brunei also offers an alternative to Venice's Gondola rides - a water taxi down Kampong Ayer . You start at the Sultan's Mosque - a breathtaking structure in itself, and cruise down past a bunch of floating houses and markets. It's romantic and fun, and let's you see the entire city in one go - as well as let's you stop and shop without leaving your boat!
There are tons of beautiful mosques and palaces for you to visit too, and a lot of restaurants for you and your spouse to try out too.

3. Kathmandu
The capital, and largest city of Nepal, is definitely a unique place to spend your honeymoon. Visit the base of Mount Everest and other UNESCO World Heritage sites while on your unique honeymoon in Kathmandu.
There are tons of exciting places to visit including temples, Buddhist hot spots and more - besides Mount Everest of course - and quite a few luxury hotels for you to choose from.
It's definitely a uniquely interesting place for you and your spouse to visit the first time you travel as husband and wife.
