Director of sales and marketing at Jebel Ali, Mariann Valero, said “Seychelles is going to be a huge project. We’re looking at a couple of other projects internationally and locally, but nothing very soon.” The company will open its second Seychelles resort, The Waterfront, in 2012. Jebel Ali Hotel was reopened in November following a five month refurbishment program, and has achieved occupancy levels close to 90 percent this month due mainly to a promotional 50 percent discount reopening rate.
