Jet Airways General Manager for Dubai and Northern Emirates said Konnect will focus initially on the Indian sector in order to meet the needs of the fast growing low fare segment. Shakir Kantawala said “The launch of Konnect will surely help our customers residing in the UAE and Gulf to plan short trips and visit friends and relatives across India.” Currently, Jet Airways flies twice daily to Mumbai, once to New Delhi, and once to Chennai. Jet Konnect will offer many flight options out of these cities.
