Jumeirah Group Appoints Four New General Managers

Luxury hotel operator Jumeirah Group announced yesterday it has appointed four new general managers for its hotels in Kuwait, Dubai, Frankfurt, and New York. Dagmar Woodward was appointed general manager for Germany and will lead the Jumeirah Frankfurt pre-opening team. The new hotel is scheduled to open in mid 2010. Woodward previously worked as general manager Madinat Jumeirah’s Mina A’Salam hotel in Dubai. Mahboud Sakir was appointed to be the general manager for Mina’A Salam. Sakir previously spend ten of his twenty years in the hospitality industry with Jumeirah Group. Khalid Helmy, and Egyptian national previously with Hyatt International was appointed general manager for Jumeirah Messilah Beach in Kuwait. Gary Schweikert was appointed general manager for Jumeirah Essex House.
