Jumeirah Group To Manage Luxury Hotel In Bangkok

Dubai based hospitality firm Jumeirah Group has signed an agreement to manage a luxury hotel in the center of Bangkok. Gerald Lawless, executive chairman of Jumeirah Group, and Ben Taechaubol, MD of Country Group (Thailand) signed the agreement. The 305 room, five star luxury Jumeirah Bangkok will be located on the legendary Chao Phraya River, near the Sathorn Bridge and Bangkok’s Central Business District.…

The company said the hotel will be the center piece of a mixed-use development that integrates local and Thai styles. It will provide a peaceful environment for business and leisure travelers in the middle of bustling Bangkok. The agreement to manage Jumeirah Bangkok is Jumeirah Group’s second in Thailand following an agreement for the Jumeirah Private Island Phuket project in 2008. The new project brings to 41 the number of properties under development or in operation by Jumeirah around the world.
