Jumeirah Hotel Brand May Add Lifestyle Group

Jumeirah Group is considering adding a lifestyle hotel brand to bring further depth to their current traditional luxury hotel offering. Jumeirah Group’s overall revenues have dropped between 25% and 30% but they remain optimistic about their growth. Jumeirah has signed 25 contracts for hotels since the downturn started, and hope to increase this figure to 60 by 2012. They are currently negotiating management contracts with over 80 parties. The Jumeirah Group manages 11 hotels for investors. Eight of these are in Dubai including the Burj Al Arab.
