London's new alcohol free bar's opening day sold out

Launched by Catherine Salway a former Virgin airlines brand guru, this new, healthy bar will settle into a permanent home in September. According to its website, it will be offering its clients "a range of classy mocktails, fruit infusions, teas and coffees, [and will] be serving super-healthy food, including desserts that are good for you. We’re not going to harm or kill animals to create our food; we are going to source things locally and, where possible, organically."

While their inspiration is not based on an Islamic desire to cater to Muslims, their principle is certainly laudable as their website begins with the following words: "These days it’s hard to get away from booze... We’re challenging the convention that we need alcohol to lubricate every social occasion." Long live the alcohol free revolution!
