The Nando’s brand is renowned for its unique style that reflects the restaurant’s Afro-Portuguese heritage through its bright colors and simple natural interior design. The façade of the restaurant is decorated with vibrant paintings and patterns embodying an African style. The restaurant uses distinctive handcrafted pottery which reflects the cultural roots of the brand.

The Nando’s brand was established in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1987. Since then, the brand has expanded to cover more than 23 countries on five continents.
