Nas air's one millionth passenger to travel free

The number of passengers traveling by nas air , Saudi Arabia's first budget airline has crossed the one million mark . Air officials of this service which was launched in February 2007 , marked the special occasion by offering the one millionth passenger , Yasser Mohammed Al Morshed , and his spouse one year free travel on all domestic and international routes . The company plans to launch new international destinations following the successful start of the Riyadh-Sharjah and Jeddah-Sharjah routes last month .

Earlier this month, the airline announced discounted prices of SR89 and SR119 on its Riyadh-Sharjah and Jeddah-Sharjah routes respectively, in addition to SR79 offer on all its domestic routes. Bookings are available through www.flynas.com . nasair - a strategic business unit of the National Air Services is the first budget airline licensed to operate flights from Riyadh. nasair connects Riyadh with all other airports in the Kingdom with over 350 weekly flights. nasair plans to reach a 10 million passenger target by the fifth year of operation when the fleet size is expected to expand to 19 aircraft.
