Planet Group was awarded the General Sales Agent (GSA) for Uzbekistan Airways, the Uzbekistan national carrier for the UAE. Uzbekistan Airways regional manager for the Middle East said they expect an increase in tourists from the UAE and the region and are looking at increasing the number of flights. Currently Uzbekistan Airways operates two flights a week each from Dubai and Sharjah.
