Qatar Airways Expands Switzerland Operations

Qatar Airways announced it will add to its Switzerland operations with an extra flight on the Doha-Zurich route beginning on 25 October 2009. CEO of Qatar Airways said the new service is part of their expansion plan for their global network. Qatar also will increase its Doha-Paris service to twice daily from October. Later this year flights to Athens, Madrid, and Stockholm will increase nearly 40%. Al Baker said Qatar Airways has enjoyed five years of success in Switzerland.” He said they are pleased to add extra capacity and offer passengers more choice and flexibility on the Zurich route. Qatar now operates 69 aircraft to 82 key business and leisure destinations throughout South Asia, Africa, Middle East, Europe, Far East, and North America.
