Renaissance Will Open Five Hotels In Five Years

Renaissance Hotels and Resorts will open five hotels in the Middle East by 2012, according to a senior executive with Marriot group’s lifestyle brand. Renaissance Doha will have 257 rooms and open later this year, followed by two hotels in Dubai and one in Bahrain. The 411 room Renaissance Abu Dhabi hotel will open in 2012. Renaissance hotels reflect the regions history, architecture, and history, and the Middle East hotels will be developed similarly. Moore said “Renaissance is a brand that gives you some experience of the culture of the place. The brand works toward making you a little familiar with the local habits.”
