flydubai's daily service from Kiev's Boryspil International Airport to Dubai has experienced robust growth because of the 46% increase in visitor arrivals from Ukraine to Dubai in 2012. Last year and more than 150,000 people traveled from Ukraine to the Dubai. Many went on to Colombo or Male for vacations.
The new flight is expected to increase traffic to Ukraine which is the world's thrid largest grain exporter and also provides medical tourism services - particularly catering to diabetes care which is in great demand in the GCC.
