The hotel has 202 guest rooms and suites which are slated to be amongst the most spacious in London ranging in size from 30sqm to 188sqm. Room rates start from £400 per room per night, including VAT.

If you are traveling with your family, you can benefit from their "London Bridge is Falling Down" package rate of £560 per room per night which includes daily breakfast for four persons at their all day dining restaurant TING, a personalised half day tour of London including two adult and two children tickets to the Tower of London, Cutty Sark or Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.

There are several halal eateries in the area of The Shard - not as posh and fancy as the hotel but perhaps you can do a takeaway chicken deal and have it in your bedroom while enjoying the views of London.

Irhal.com last week contacted the Shangri-La Hotel, The Shard, London, for information on halal food for Muslim guests but has not heard back from them.
