Sharjah Aims To Attract More Visitors

Sharjah will try to put itself on the global tourism map by taking part in more international exhibitions and road shows this year. Participating in these travel exhibitions has proven to be a very effective way to attract more visitors to the emirate. SCTDA Director General, Mohammad A. Al No’man said “We have enjoyed tremendous success through participation in various exhibitions and travel markets around the world in the past, and we anticipate that our activities in 2010 will add to the rush of new tourists to our shores once again.” He said this year's promotion activities will be very busy and includes participation in some of the world’s biggest travel exhibitions. SCTDA will participate in the renowned ITB Berlin in March, ATM in Dubai in May, and London’s WTM in November.
