Sharjah Tourism Body Launches Swine Flu Awareness Campaign

Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) launched an H1N1 public awareness campaign for UAE residents and tourists. SCTDA tourism industry department manager said the awareness campaign will boost confidence in SCTDA’s preventive scheme. As part of the awareness campaign informational leaflets were distributed to all hotel premises and tourism facilities in Sharjah. The leaflets contained information about the illness, modes of transmission, symptoms, and prevention.
