Sharjah Tourism Body To Participate In International Tourism Bourse Asia

Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) announced they will participate in the International Tourism Bourse Asia (ITB Asia). SCTDA Director General explained “SCTDA is working according to a clear strategy to develop the emirate’s tourism sector further by targeting international markets and organizing events and activities that promote the emirate”. Mohammad A. Al No’man said Sharjah is increasingly becoming recognized as a prime tourist destination, and is a destination of choice for Asian tourists, who accounted for 21 per cent of total visitors in the first three quarters of this year. The SCTDA stand at the ITA exhibition will provide English language information on Sharjah’s tourism offering and features a balanced mix of traditional and modern designs reflecting the emirate’s new brand.
