Sharjah’s Hotel Sector Improves Quality

Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority issued a report showing that the hotel industry improved in quality during the first half of this year. The report was issued by SCTDA’s Licensing and Classifications Department. The report showed the service provided to guests improved significantly. The report said the positive improvement was more noticeable during the first half of 2009, although the new law came into effect at the beginning of 2008. All of Sharjah’s 107 hotel premises have been classified according to the new guidelines.
