Six Senses Hotel & Resort To Develop First Middle East Spa

Six Senses Hotels and Resorts will develop its first resort in the Middle East – a 44 room villa near the Zighy Bay resort on the Musandam Peninsula in Oman. General Manager Rochelle Kilgariff said the spa will be developed on a plateau above Sense on the Edge fine dining restaurant. The restaurant is situated in the mountains surrounding the resort. Zighy Bay resort spa would be the company’s second worldwide opening following launch of the concept in Thailand last year. Plans for the Middle East Zighy Bay spa are in the very early stages. The company is also considering developing destination spa properties in along the equator in locations like Portugal, Morocco, and Brazil.
