Staybridge Suites Opens On Yas Islands

Staybridge Suites Abu Dhabi opened its doors for occupancy on Yas Island, within walking distance of the Formula 1 race at Yas Marinas circuit, and near the Abu Dhabi International Airport. The Staybridge Suites Abu Dhabi has 164 suites ranging from studios to two bedroom suites and provides access to a 24 hour convenience store. Chief Operating Officer for IHG Middle East and Africa, John Barney, explained it is important for the company to increase their presence in the region in order to “maintain our position as the leading hotel provider” because Abu Dhabi expects to receive 2.3 million visitors a year by 2013.
