The one night programme includes yoga at sunrise on the 217 metre high roof of Abu Dhabi's most iconic address, indulgent spa treatments and dinner in any of the hotel’s fine dining restaurants. The new retreat offers daily sessions of hatha yoga on the hotel’s striking rooftop, with panoramic views of the marina and the infinite Abu Dhabi desert…

The new retreat offers daily sessions of hatha yoga on the hotel’s striking rooftop, with panoramic views of the marina and the infinite Abu Dhabi desert to exhilarate and energise. The classes are led by specialist instructor Josie McKenlay of Vital Flow,a leading yoga studio in the Middle East, and tailored to individual’s needs. From gentle beginners’ classes to advanced Vinyasa Flow, Josie focuses on four key elements – strength, flexibility, mobility and breathing, helping guests to disconnect under the tranquil Arabian skies.
One hour of healing treatments at the exclusive Espa spa complements the yoga, further releasing tension and rejuvenating body and mind. Female yogis can also enjoy the ladies only hammam with its authentic Arabian rituals, while the exclusive Metronap pods in the male relaxation room provide the ultimate energy boost.
After a stimulating yoga session, guests can dine in any of the hotel’s six restaurants, from seasonal fare in Origins, to the Zen tranquillity of Kazu.
The Yoga Retreat at The Yas Hotel is available every Sunday and Monday from June 15th to August 31st, 2011 and costs from AED 2,260 for two people sharing a Deluxe Room, A minimum of four and a maximum of eight participants are required.
