Three UAE Hotels Among Conde Nast Top 108
Published by Irhal
UK based Conde Nast Traveler magazine 108 strong short list of the world’s greatest hotels included three in the UAE; The Desert Island Resort & Spa on Abu Dhabi’s Sir Bani Yas Island, Dubai’s Ritz-Carlton, and Madinat Jumeirah. Editors and travel experts at the Conde Nast publication compile a Gold List of the world’s best hotels every year using six criteria – service, location, food, rooms, leisure…

Antara’s Desert Island Resort & Spa has now made the Conde Nast Traveler Hot List twice. The resort, which is located in Al Gharbia on Sir Bani Yas Island, was also nominated in April 2009, only six months after opening. The island was previously the private retreat of the late founder and president of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Conde Nast Traveler praised the Ritz Carlton in Dubai for its dedicated butlers and concierge, and said its “Club Level’s 38 rooms on the fifth and sixth floors offer unbeatable service.”
