UAE Initials Open Air Agreement With Kyrgyz Republic

The UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) initialed an “open” Air Services agreement and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kyrgz Republic on September 30. Director General of the UAE GCAA and Director of the Civil Aviation Authority for the Kyrgz Republic signed the accord. Representatives from the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Sharjah Department of Civil Aviation, Abu Dhabi Department of Transport, Emirates Airline, Air Arabia attended the negotiations. Etihad Airways, Emirates Airlines, Air Arabia, flydubai, and Rak Airways were designated by the UAE delegation as national airlines under the agreement. The Kyrgz delegation will name its national airlines later.
