An unnamed source told the UK’s Daily Mirror that “Even in these credit-crunched times, the fee offered to Victoria was astronomical. The hotel, which will be located on a fashion-themed island called Isla Moda off the Dubai Coast, would be designed by Victoria Beckham and fashion designer Karl Lagerfield. Beckham has not yet accepted the offer.
