But all is not lost. If you still wish to visit Chile this summer - it is winter there now - you can go skiiing or snowboarding on the slopes of the Mocho-Choshuenco Volcano. You can rent equipment and find hotels at the “Bosque Nevado” adventure ski center at the Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve which has just opened its winter season.
