The Minister for Tourism in Jordan expects this step will attract more tourists, especially from remote areas where there are large Arab communities, such as Latin America.
Saadallah Agha, Syrian Minister of Tourism said that the four countries are characterized by enormous tourism potential which can attract tens of millions of tourists from all over the world.
He said that improved ties with Turkey and the expansion of international flights will increase the number of tourists coming to Syria by 40% this year.
He predicted that Syria will host 8.5 million visitors in 2011 who will spend $ 8.2 billion.
