Ban of gas and liquid on board to end by 2012

The ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) has said the ban on creams, gels and liquids will be lifted by 2012. New technology will be installed at all airport security checkpoints that can detect explosives in water bottles, make up and toothpaste. ICAO secretary general, Raymond Bnejamin told AFP that the ban on liquid items over security concerns will end in the next two years.
