Cristal Hotel to launch 8 hotels in China

Saturday, June 19 - Abu Dhabi based Cristal Hotels and Resorts is planning to build eight hotels in China as part of an expansion drive in Asia aimed at tapping markets in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and mainland China. Cristal Hotels currently has a 192 room hotel in Abu Dhabi and has previously announced plans to expand to other regional markets including Qatar and Saudi Arabia, particularly Riyadh, Jeddah, Khobar, and Makkah for the annual Haj pilgrimage.
Peter Blackburn, CEO of Crystal Hotels and Resorts, said “We want to take advantage of the steady flow of business and establish a strong presence in the emerging markets of Asia as part of our overall Middle East and Asia growth strategy.”
