Doubts Emerge About QE2 Cape Town Docking
Published by Irhal
Nakheel, the owner of QE2 is in talks with port authorities in South Africa about the safety of docking the cruise liner in Capetown. Nakheel is a state controlled real estate developer. A Nakheel spokesman said “We are currently in detailed discussions with the authorities in South Africa.” The spokesman expressed confidence the QE2 could be berthed at Capetown. He said final preparations are underway to ensure full compliance with international safety standards.
