‘Best Airport in the Middle East’ at the Business Traveler Middle East awards, and ‘Middle East’s Leading Airport’ at the 2010 World Travel Awards ceremonies held in Dubai earlier this week.
Shaikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and chairman of Dubai Airports said “Awards such as these are welcomed recognition of the dedication and hard work of our employees who remain single-minded in their pursuit of world leading customer service.” He said they also acknowledge the level of cooperation and coordination Dubai Airports enjoys with airlines, Dubai Duty free, government agencies, and other valued service providers at Dubai International. “Dubai International Airport was the world’s fastest growing airport in 2009.
