Emirates Hospitality takes ‘The Address’ brand global
Published by Irhal
May 8 - Emirate’s Hospitality, a unit of Dubai’s Emaar Properties, plans to take its brand global, beginning with management of two hotels in France and Morocco. The hospitality group is also in talks to operate more hotels under The Address brand as luxury hotel sales recover. Marc Dardenne, chief executive of Emaar Hospitality said the brand has had a good performance at home and the next step is to grow it…

Mr. Dardenne said the company has confirmed hotels in the South of France and in Morocco. “Many discussions are taking place at this stage to potentially manage more hotels, not only in the Middle East but also North Africa, Europe, and hopefully we will also start looking at Asia and the US” he said. Italian designer Giorgio Armani partnered with Emaar Properties to open his first hotel at the world’s tallest tower, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai this April. Emaar plans to open more hotels with Mr. Armani, with a second property scheduled to open in 2011.
