Etihad Airways Signs $14bn Engine Deal

Etihad Airways said Engine Alliance, GE Aviation, International Aero Engines, and Rolls Royce will be engine partners in delivering the 100 aircraft they ordered last year at the Farnborough International Air Show in the UK. Etihad ordered the aircraft from Boeing and Airbus. Chief Executive for Etihad Airways said “The new aircraft and the engines that will power them are scheduled for delivery between 2011 and 2020.”
